A Home, a Soul, a story
Founded in 1978 by Philippe and Michèle Vételé, Maison Anne de Bretagne was built on a dune facing the ocean, seamlessly integrated into its surroundings. A few kilometers away, Mathieu Guibert grew up along this same coastline before training at several leading French restaurants. He took over the Maison in 2016 and has guided it through a gradual evolution: his cuisine has found its voice, his team has taken shape, and the wine cellar has been expanded. Today, the Maison comprises a hotel, a fine-dining restaurant, a bistro, and, coming soon, a wellness center. It is a story that continues over the long term, without losing its essence.
The Pays de Retz, a low-key yet delicious region
Between the Loire and the Atlantic, the Pays de Retz reveals its charm in subtle ways. The landscape alternates between vegetable farms, rocky shores, west-facing harbors, stilted fishing huts, and coastal trails... From the moment you arrive, time seems to pass differently here.
